Here are 20 questions you should ask your photographer.
- Can we give you a list of specific shots we’d like to make sure we take? You can with us!
- What kind of equipment will you bring with you? We bring Professional Canon Equipment, not the stuff for soccer moms
- Are you a member of any professional organizations? We are a member of multiple organizations, including Canon Professional Services and Professional Photographers of America
- Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or photoshop editing? Yes we provide all three!
- How long after the wedding will we receive the proofs and CD with the copyright released images? 6 weeks at the latest, usually much sooner!
- How many images should we expect to receive? 800-1200 is an average number of final edited files, we don’t have a limit, and we shoot many more
- Do you have liability insurance? Yes
- Will you help pose/style shots? Yes, we like to give you clear direction in setting up the shot, then let you take it from there (that’s when we get the best shots!)
- How will you dress for the event? We dress professionally in order to blend in with the guests at your event.
- Will there be one or two photographers? With our pricing, you can choose one or two photographers based on your preference and budget.
- What’s your payment structure? Your deposit is only 25% of your collection amount. The final payments are broken up into thirds. You can track all your invoices and payments online in your password protected portal.
- Will you have backup equipment with you? We bring backup equipment that is of the same caliber as our main equipment.
- Do you use professional editing software? We have the latest versions of all Adobe products.
- Do you edit my images? Yes we edit all your images, one at a time, in order to provide you with an image ready for print.
- Do you include High Resolution Files? Yes! Every collection includes these by default, we also include a copyright release so you can print up to a 30×40 print.
- Are the files watermarked? No
- How long have you been in business? We’ve been in business since 2001 and are proud to call Wilmington our home.
- Do you have a studio? Yes our studio is located inside of dragonflies gifts on Oleander Dr in Wilmington.
- Can I see an entire wedding? Yes, some photographers just show the best of for their prospective clients, we are happy to show you an entire wedding from beginning to end.
- Do you provide framing, album design, and printing? Yes in our studio we are happy to provide all of the above. We always enjoy sitting down with a client and creating an album or showing framed images. We provide Gallery Prints, Framed Prints, Cards, Photo Guest Books, Save the Date Cards, Thank You Cards, Albums, Wall Art, Custom Jewelry, and much more!
