Hotel Ballast Wedding | Wilmington Wedding Photographers | Caroline & Greg

Caroline & Greg’s beautiful Hotel Ballast wedding was a dream to photograph.  Caroline truly looked like a princess in her wedding gown, and Greg just beamed the whole day with Caroline by this side.  Their ceremony took place on the Hotel Ballast patio overlooking the Cape Fear River.  My favorite moment of the day was when Greg saw his bride for the first time.  As Caroline walked down the aisle towards him, he was overcome with emotion and it was so sweet to witness.

I asked Caroline to describe some of her favorite moments of the day.  From the bride: “I loved the sweet moment Greg and I had around the corner from each other right before the ceremony. Having that minute or two together before the big ceremony helped calm my nerves. I will always remember the tears he shed as I walked down the aisle, cause I had never seen him cry before! Having our baby dog, Holly, as our flower girl was really special for me, too.”

The weather held, the ceremony went beautifully, and the dance floor was packed at the reception the whole night!
