Erin’s interest in photography was sparked as a child, then grew when she worked on her high-school yearbook staff and as she earned a degree in photojournalism from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Journalism. In 1999, Erin started documenting weddings, left her job as a photojournalist at the Star- News and has not looked back. Fifteen years later, she still loves working with couples to document all the special people moments throughout their wedding day. When she does not have a camera over her shoulder, Erin and her family can often be found surfing, fishing and going on adventures in the salt marsh.
